Lower Dolpo Trek

Bound by the Dhaulagiri and ChurenHimal ranges, Lower Dolpo is a remote yet spectacular trek in the Himalayan region.

With Tibetan styled caves, yak farms, numerous monasteries, and small  settlements, one can gain a clear insight into the Tibetan lifestyle on this side of the Himalayas.

Numu La and Baga La are the two major high passes on this trek, with a challenging climb. Yet the  strenuous trail awards with mesmerizing views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Norbu Kang, and ChurenHimal.

Phoksundo Lake is another big attraction of this trek and a night stay at the shore of this lake will  offer idyllic scenery to rejuvenate.

Observe wild flowers, Himalayan blue sheep, huge birds, and mountain views on the way.

Trek through dense pine and cedar forests, meadows, valleys,  steep gorges and streams to complete this wonderful trek that would be an experience for a lifetime.

Day 9: Trek to Numa La pass and Pelung Tang
